Der Oldiman hat eine Spannweite von 1500mm und wird als lasergeschnittener Holzbausatz geliefert. Das Modell wird in Deutschland bei Extron Modellbau hergestellt. Das Modell wird über 3 Achsen gesteuert (Seiten, Höhen- und Querruder). Die raffinierte Konstruktion und eine optimale Materialauswahl sorgt für ein sehr niedriges Abfluggewicht bei gleichzeitig hoher Stabilität. Das Modell soll damit in einem weiten Geschwindigkeitsbereich völlig unkritisch fliegbar sein. Kunstflug soll ebenso möglich sein wie langsames cruisen. Der Bausatz wurde so konstruiert, dass auch Anfänger und weniger begabte Modellbauer rasch und problemlos bauen können. Auf Qualität wurde, wie bei allen Extron Flugmodellen, größten Wert gelegt. Die Tragfläche ist zweiteilig mit einer stabilen Steckung ausgestattet.
Der Preis für den Oldiman beträgt 179,- €. Das Modell ist ab sofort im Handel erhältlich.

The Oldiman has a wingspan of 1500mm and is supplied as a laser-cut wooden kit. The model is made in Germany by Extron Modellbau. The model is controlled via 3 axes (rudder, elevator and ailerons). The sophisticated construction and an optimal choice of materials ensure a very low take-off weight with high stability at the same time. The model should be completely uncritically flyable in a wide speed range. Aerobatics should be just as possible as slow cruising. The kit was designed in such a way that even beginners and less talented model builders can build quickly and easily. As with all Extron aircraft, quality was of the utmost importance. The wing is in two parts with a stable connection. The price for the Oldiman is €179. The model is now commercially available.
